Big Fish

Carmel High School’s spring musical in 2025 was Big Fish. As the Sound Designer and Technical Director, I had quite a large job ahead of me. We were fortunate enough to rent to original Broadway set and props designed by Julian Crouch and built by ShowMotion.

The challenges in putting this show together were many, including installing thousands of daffodils, unloading 60 thousand pounds of equipment, and reassembling all of the set pieces with no instructions!

My goals for this production were to ensure clarity and transparency in the sound mix, and of course ensure all of the set pieces were installed safely. We had a great time with this one!
